Bringing Austin's Health & Wellness Community
Together
Build better connections, stronger businesses, and more opportunities through free monthly networking events and a private professional community.
What is Health Hustlers?
Health Hustlers brings Austin's health and wellness community together to build real relationships, create referral partnerships, collaborate, learn from one another, and grow stronger businesses together.
Two Ways to Get Involved
Free In-Person Networking Events
This isn't just another “grab a name tag and hope for the best” networking event.
We host a free networking event on the first Tuesday of every month in Austin, but this isn't the typical networking event where you walk into a room, grab a drink, exchange a few business cards, and hope you happened to meet the right people.
Health Hustlers events are built specifically for Austin's health and wellness community and intentionally structured to help you make real connections. Through guided introductions, one-on-one conversations, and purposeful networking, you'll meet more of the room, learn what people actually do, and uncover opportunities for referrals, partnerships, and collaboration.
Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out in the health and wellness industry, our events provide a supportive environment to grow your network and build meaningful relationships.
- ✓ Free monthly events
- ✓ Guided introductions
- ✓ One-on-one networking
- ✓ Referral partnerships
- ✓ Real collaboration
- ✓ Designed so you don't spend the whole night talking to the same two people
Private Online Community
Build your network. Support local wellness businesses. Save money on the health and wellness services you already use.
Our private online community gives Austin's health and wellness professionals a place to stay connected, build referral relationships, collaborate, and do business with people they actually know and trust.
But one of the biggest benefits of being a Health Hustlers member is access to exclusive member-only offers and discounts throughout the community. Depending on the businesses you connect with, that could mean potential savings on things like massages, chiropractic care, gyms, IV therapy, recovery services, wellness products, supplements, and more.
These special offers are exclusively for verified health and wellness professionals who are members of the Health Hustlers online community. They are NOT public discounts and cannot be shared with patients, clients, friends, or the general public.
If you're already investing in your health, why not save money while supporting other professionals in your own community?
And unlike a massive public Facebook group filled with strangers and self-promotion, Health Hustlers is intentionally local. Connect directly with members, join specialty-specific groups, ask questions, share expertise, find referral opportunities, and build relationships that continue long after the monthly event ends.
The more the community grows, the more valuable both your network and your member benefits become.
- ✓ Exclusive member–only discounts & offers
- ✓ Stay connected with Austin professionals
- ✓ Find referral and collaboration opportunities
- ✓ Specialty–specific groups
- ✓ Ask questions and share knowledge
- ✓ Member–to–member introductions

Meet the Leader Behind Health Hustlers
Dr. Scott Mitchell
If you've ever walked into a networking event alone, looked around a room full of people you didn't know, and thought, "How am I actually supposed to turn this into real connections?" just know that I've been there.
When I moved to Austin in 2018, I was 25 years old, fresh out of chiropractic school, knew almost no one, and was trying to build a business from scratch. My first chiropractic setup was about as basic as it gets: a cheap fold-up table, a laptop, and a curtained-off area in a hallway right next to the bathroom. Patients could literally hear the toilet flushing while they were lying on my table.
I was time-rich and money-poor, and I learned very quickly that being good at what I did wasn't enough. If people didn't know me, trust me, or know when to refer someone to me, my business wasn't going anywhere.
So I started networking. A lot.
I connected with people through social media and went to just about every networking event, business mixer, and health and wellness meetup I could find. Some were great. Some were a complete waste of time. Some I paid for and left wondering what exactly I had paid for. But I kept showing up because I saw how powerful the right relationships could be.
One of the communities I joined was a large Austin health and wellness group that cost around $11 per month. It had occasional in-person events, an online directory, and a private Facebook group. And honestly, it helped me.
I met people, received referrals, and built relationships that played a part in growing my practice. Some of the people I connected with during those early years are still part of my professional circle today. But I could also see what was missing.
The events were mostly small open mixing and mingling. If you were naturally outgoing, that worked. But if you were new, didn't know anyone, or weren't comfortable walking up to strangers, it could be difficult to actually meet the right people.
The online side had similar gaps. There was a directory and a Facebook group, but there wasn't an easy way to truly stay connected, find specific professionals, continue conversations, or intentionally build relationships between events. The pieces were there. They just weren't really connected.
Over the years, I continued networking and eventually grew my chiropractic practice into an established Austin business. Along the way, I learned that good networking isn't about collecting business cards or selling yourself to everyone in the room. It's about relationships.
Then, at the end of 2025, I had the opportunity to take over Health Hustlers. One of the things I already loved about Health Hustlers as an attendee was the structure of its in-person events. Instead of simply walking into a room and hoping to meet the right people, there were introductions, icebreakers, guided conversations, and one-on-one networking built in.
That structure was a big reason I saw so much potential in Health Hustlers and decided to become the leader. But there was still one major piece I wanted to solve: what happens after everyone goes home?
You can have a great conversation, exchange contact information, say you should grab coffee, and then life gets busy. A month later, that promising connection is just another name in your phone. That's ultimately what led us to build the private Health Hustlers online community.
The goal is to give Austin's health and wellness professionals a place to stay connected between events, find the right people, continue conversations, exchange referrals, collaborate, share opportunities, and actually turn introductions into relationships.
There's also a financial benefit to being part of the community. Every Health Hustlers member is required to offer some type of exclusive discount, special, or added value to other members. That means members aren't just gaining business connections. They're also getting access to exclusive benefits from health, wellness, and fitness businesses throughout the community.
Health Hustlers is largely the product of everything I experienced while trying to build my own business in Austin. I know what it's like to move to a new city without connections. I know how frustrating networking can be when there's no structure or follow-through. And I know how much the right relationships can change the direction of a business. Health Hustlers is the community I wish I had when I first moved to Austin in 2018.
So, if you're building a health or wellness business here, you shouldn't have to spend years figuring out where to meet the right people or how to turn introductions into meaningful relationships.
Come to an event. Meet the community. Build relationships. Find people you can collaborate with, refer to, learn from, and grow alongside. Because the stronger your network becomes, the more opportunities you create and you never know which conversation could change the direction of your business.
Join us at the next Health Hustlers event or apply to become part of the private community.
